Frida's Gourmet Mexican Cuisine

Frida’s Gourmet Mexican Cuisine is a beautiful restaurant in Anacortes which specializes in Haute Mexican cuisine. After getting a degree in Guadalajara, co-owner Antonio Pina had the vision to open a restaurant in Washington to show the gourmet side of Mexican cuisine that not many people get to taste.

The restaurant is named after the famous avant-garde Mexican artist Frida Kahlo whose paintings are featured in our decor. Our dinner menu ranges from $12 to $21.95, and our lunch menu ranges from $9 to $11. We have a kid’s menu and happy hour specials at the bar. We have gluten-free and vegetarian menu items so there is something for everyone.

Our Flavor

We offer completely different flavors than anyone in the valley. Take our Lamb de Kahlo for example; a leg of lamb marinated in citrus sauce, lime peel and black pepper. Oven baked and served with a sauce of roasted red peppers and dry vermouth. Or our Chicken Remedios Varo; a chicken drumstick stuffed with sauteed spinach and feta cheese. It is then oven roasted and covered with a creamy zucchini sauce.

Our Drinks

We have 400 different kinds of tequilas, some of which are extremely rare and no longer in production. Our beautiful bar shows off all of the specialty bottles we have available.

Our Restaurant

We have outdoor seating in the front and back, we have a loft with a small conference room, seating at the bar, enclosed booths, and a beautiful main dining area. Whether you are looking for a romantic date or want to bring the whole family, Frida’s Gourmet Mexican Restaurant has a seat just for you!

Come try our take on high-end Mexican cuisine and regional favorites from Mexico. We know you’ll be back for more!
