During the Take A Bite for Skagit on Thursday, May 17th, 2018, #SkagitFoodies will dine out at local restaurants, raising funds for Community Action to get fresh produce from farms to local food banks. By choosing to donate a percentage of your gross sales on Thursday, May 17th, you will make an impact on the lives of hungry families in Skagit County.
The Take A Bite For Skagit will benefit your restaurant by promoting you across every form of media all over Skagit. You will receive an awesome marketing package including posters, table tent cards and more!
You will be featured prominently on YummyAlert.com and northcoastcu.com. You will receive promotion on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other digital advertisements. Skagit Yummy Alert has an online following of over 8,000 local foodies on our social networks.
We will be placing ads on KISM Classic Rock Radio leading up to the event, and each restaurant will get a shoutout on Thursday, May 17th! Ads will also be heard on KAFE, KAPS, and KBRC.

Community Action’s Food Distribution Center will use the funds raised from the Take A Bite For Skagit to distribute fresh produce from local farmers across Skagit County. The fresh produce will be distributed to food banks in Skagit County, nourishing people in need with healthy food.
